SHILLONG: Nongkrem legislator, Ardent Basaiawmoit on Monday replied to the showcause notice issued by the District Administration for holding a meeting without seeking necessary permissions.
East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, PS Dkhar confirmed that the MLA responded to the show cause notice.
Now, the explanation of the MLA will be examined by the Returning Officer and based on the findings, action will be taken.
