SHILLOG: AICC spokesperson and MP from Assam,  Gaurav Gogoi has taken another jibe at the National  People’s Party  by terming it as “Trojan horse” for RSS, Amit Shah and Yogi Adityannath.

Addressing a press conference here  on Wednesday,  Gaurav Gogoi alleged that the saffron BJP was trying to penetrate into Meghalaya through the backdoor with help of regional parties  while mentioning that voting for NPP is same as voting for  the BJP.

Slamming the  NPP President, Conrad Sangma over his inability to secure a visa for  the Church leaders,   Gogoi said, “ Conrad Sangma could not get    visa for the church leaders   than what highways and   roads would he build here.

Castigating the   BJP over the attacks on pastors in Madhya Pradesh  and observation of Digitial India Day  on Good Friday and   Good Governance Day on Christmas,  he said that the BJP in future may even observed Deen Dayal and RSS day

“ RSS  was setup in opposition   to different religions,” he told reporters while alleging that the Government  in Delhi is for the RSS., by the RSS and of the RSS

According to Gogoi, Congress people are working in grassroot and the decline of BJP in the North East will begin from Meghalaya.

Stating that  Meghalaya stands next to Assam  as far as job creation  is concerned,   he further alleged that the BJP Government is  now appointing Vice Chancellors of the Universities on their background rather than   their merits besides Governors are being chosen only if they have  RSS training

Earlier,  he said that the BJP had not fulfilled its promises which were made in the year  2014  and so what  is the point of releasing   of BJP’s vision document which the party would be releasing on Thursday.

Gogoi, who has been  very vocal against the BJP further attacked the  saffron party  over its claims of creating 1.68   crore jobs through  MUDRA saying the average size of   MUDRA loan is  Rs  43000 and it is impossible to create even one job   with the amount.

Slamming the Centre over the start-ups,  he said that out of 33000 start-ups, only  74   of them have been approved for  availing tax benefits  while alleging that  country’s unemployment rate   has risen to a 5 year high  of  5  per cent in 2015-16

On the other hand,    MPCC working  president, Vincent Pala said that the party might not require to align  with anyone to form the Government in Meghalaya  while expressing confidence that a Manipur situation will not arise in Meghalaya where   BJP formed the Government  though Congress was the single largest party
