Mahila Cong demands GST on sanitary napkins withdrawn

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) led by its  president Joplin Scott Shylla while observing International Women’s Day at Congress Bhavan here on Thursday, demanded that the Central government should immediately withdraw GST from sanitary napkins.

The Mahila Congress also distributed free sanitary napkins to villagers from interior Meghalaya areas.
