Workshop
The Botanical Survey of India, Eastern Regional Center Shillong organised a forthnight long Botanical Art Workshop at its premises.It is organised under the stewardship of renowned artist, Mahaveer Swami. Altogether sixteen Botany scholars and artists from different parts of the country participated. The paintings done by all the artists will be on display at MAD Gallery, Riti Academy of Visual Arts on March 23 and 24 from 4 pm to 7pm.
‘Ring the Bell’, a campaign will be organised by Ferrando Speech Hearing Centre, along with the Regional Action for Inclusive Education North-East & select SSA on March 21. The programme will involve ringing the bell for one minute by children without disability.

Condolence
Many members of the Gorkha organisations organised a condolence meet to condole the death of prominent literary figure and a cultural icon of the Gorkha community Dr. Indra Bahadur Rai at Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School on Sunday. A two minute silence was observed as mark of respect to the departed soul.
