FKJGP raises concern over influx, education

SHILLONG: The Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the FKJGP reiterated its demand to implement the entry/exit point, Meghalaya Resident and Safety Rule 2016 to curb influx.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the organisation informed that a meeting was held to discuss several issues including education and related subjects .
The organisation expressed concern over the functioning of Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) as it is not up to the standard of CBSE, ICSE.
FKJGP added it will solicit the opinion of intellectuals to bring about a reformation in the education sector in the state. The organisation has also urged the youth to not shy away from being employed in whatever menial job they get.
The CEC of the organisation also opposed the decision of the government to make appointments under contract basis which is a stumbling block to young people who wish to get government jobs. The FKJGP informed that it will meet higher authorities on the issue of alleged encroachment of MUDA.
