TURA: The Tura Government College Students’ Union submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui listing various demands including appointment of vice principal and teaching staff for various subjects in different streams, librarian, electrician and sweepers for boys’ and girls’ hostels, construction of field gallery, indoor stadium, resolution to water crisis in the college, sanctioning of college vehicles as well as enhancement of salary for morning shift lecturers.
