Dak Adalat
A division level Dak and Pension Adalat will be held in the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Office, Meghalaya Division Shillong on April 20 at 11 am to look into the grievances of postal services and pensioners drawing pension from Post Offices under Meghalaya Division.
Office shifted
The office of the Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations, WGH has been shifted from Chandmary to its permanent location at Dakopgre, Tura near MeECL Sub-Station with effect from April 3.

North Eastern Service, All India Radio-Shillong in its Radio Bridge Programme will broadcast live discussion on ‘Development of Smart Cities in North East’ on Friday from 8 p.m to 8:40 p.m. The programme will be broadcast on SW 60.36 Meters Corresponding to 4790 Khtz and on additional FM support of 100.1 Mghtz. It will also be available on AIR-Live streaming mobile app on “North Eastern Service” and on AIR-NE DTH platform.
Anti racial panel
A Monitoring Committee has been constituted in the Union Ministry of Home Affairs for monitoring issues and grievances relating to racial discrimination faced by the North east people residing in different parts of the country. Complaints can also be send to [email protected].
State conference
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is organising the 2nd State Conference on Saturday from 10 a.m onwards at Aurobindo Ashram. Eminent personalities and selected student leaders from different districts of the state will participate in the conference.
