SHILLONG: After two years of learning and sharing sessions on inclusive education, 29 key teachers are all set to have rapport building, networking and supporting 75 SSA schools in the region.
Regional Action on Inclusive Education in North East (RAISE) has been conducting a series of Key Teacher Learning and Sharing sessions on Inclusive Education for the past 2 years with the objective of influencing and creating an impact at the SSA School level.
Attending their graduation ceremony on Wednesday at Bethany Society, the teachers will support the SSA teachers and facilitate the change process towards inclusion for all.
The Key teachers are representing the five states of Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland and Manipur in the North East
This public-private partnership was envisaged with the sole intention of strengthening the on-going efforts in Inclusive Education.
The Key teachers have developed their skills on Universal Design of Learning, Laws and Legislation on Disability, Learning Disability, Classroom transactions, curriculum adaptation among other topics conducted by resource persons from national and regional level.
