Tura jail convict brought dead

SHILLONG: A convict in the district jail in Tura who was suffering from cardiac complications was declared dead at the civil hospital in West Garo Hills on Sunday.
Bablu Marak (40) was a patient of “chronic cardiac disease”, according to the information received from the police booth at the hospital.
He was taken to Tura Civil Hospital for emergency medical care. However, the doctors said he was brought dead.
