Headman rejects KSU address proof claim

SHILLONG: The headman of Amlarem, T Surong, refuted the allegations of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) that he denied residential certificate to some residents.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Surong informed that the residential certificates were issued to the residents.
On the other hand, he urged the complainants, the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) and the SDO to attend a public meeting to be convened by the Dorbar to address and solve issues of the village.
