Fuel station staff assaulted in GH

TURA: Three employees of a petrol pump located on the outskirts of Tura were assaulted by a group of members from a local organisation following an altercation over the delivery of fuel on Saturday.
According to police, three youths arrived at the Rachel petrol station at Bokmagreat around 6:00am asking for fuel. An altercation took place in which one of the employees was punched in the face by the youth who immediately fled the scene.
At 10:00am a large group of around 40 persons arrived at the petrol station and vandalized the entire place. Three employees of the station were assaulted and were taken to a nearby hospital.
District Police Chief MGR Kumar who rushed to the site accompanied by police personnel told The Shillong Times that the incident is being probed and round the clock security has been deployed at the site.
