SHILLONG: The president of Nongkrem Block Congress Committee, John Kharshiing on Tuesday tendered his resignation from the post, citing that he will continue to be a member of the committee.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, Kharshiing who tendered his resignation to the working president said the reason is to allow other members of the Block to find out ways and means to revamp and strengthen the committee ahead of the District Council polls in 2019.
