SHILLONG: The convener of Ranikor Block Congress Committee (RBCC), Prosperous K. Nongmin informed that the party would work hard field a candidate for Ranikor by-election.
In a statement issued to the press, he said the Congress party in Ranikor was united and added that the party was continuing its efforts to strengthen the base in Ranikor following the resignation of former MLA, Martin Danggo from the Congress.
Nongmin is hopeful that the people of the Ranikor constituency will continue to support the Congress as it has done so in the last 20 years.
