Oil released
The DC (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong has informed that S.K. Oil for the month of June, for all Antyodaya Anna Yojana families, Priority House Holds and Non-NFSA beneficiaries has been released and will be distributed through the retailers at the scale of 2.5 litres per card both in urban and rural areas at the rate of Rs. 27. 55 per litre in Shillong areas (urban), Rs. 27.55p per litre in Mylliem areas (urban), Rs. 28.30p per litre in Mawphlang/Mawkynrew/Laitlyngkot areas (rural), Rs. 28.35p per litre in Mawryngkneng/Weiloi/Pynursla areas (rural), Rs. 28.05p per litre in Mylliem areas (rural) and Rs. 28.70p per litre in Balat areas (rural).
General meet 
Shillong Socio-cultural Assamese Students’ Association has urged all its members, advisors and all the Assamese students of the city to attend its first annual general meeting on the premises of Assam Kristi Kendra at 10 am on Sunday.

Weather warning 
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a weather warning whereby heavy to very heavy rain on Saturday and extremely heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
