Vehicle stolen
On June 30 around 1 am, unknown miscreants stole a Mahindra Bolero (ML-09A-0772) belonging to Vikal Singh from Them Marwet, Khanapara (Ri Bhoi).
Fake certificates
I. Majaw, MCS, Addl. DC, East Khasi Hills, Shillong lodged a complaint that a case of fake certificate has been detected and there could be a group of persons involved in the racket.
Burglary
Ngakave Vaiphei lodged a complaint that on June 29, Saran Thapa attempted to commit burglary in her residence at Bomfyle Road, Shillong. The accused [reportedly a drug addict] was taken to Civil Hospital Shillong for medical check-up and was admitted in the hospital.
Theft
Push Raj Sethia lodged a complaint that on June 28 around 7 am, he found that unknown miscreants broke into his shop at Cantonment, Shop No. 5, Shillong and stole three CCTV cameras which were installed in his shops, monitor, DVR and cash around Rs. 8,400/-.
One dies in assault
Rukseni K Sangma lodged a complaint that on June 26 at about 3.30 pm, Sengran D Shira attacked her husband viz., Balkillin Ch Momin with a dao at Cheran Alda village under Songsak PS (EGH). As a result, the victim died in the spot.
