SHILLONG: A day after United Democratic Party (UDP), Ranikor Circle made it clear it would approach Congress and other political parties on its own capacity to garner support for party candidate, Pius Marwein in the Ranikor by-poll , UDP president, Donkupar Roy said that the party would meet shortly to discuss the matter.
“ This matter is till now at the constituency level and we will meet soon to discuss the matter,”the UDP president added.
United Democratic Party, Ranikor Circle has also made it clear that it would not ‘allow’ the high command to ‘interfere’.
Marwein is contesting against NPP candidate and five-time MLA, M.M Danggo.
