Four injured in separate accidents
On July 8 around 4.30 pm, one motorcycle ridden by Silman M Sangma (21) dashed against one Maruti Swift car driven by Nityananda Barman (37) at Baispara village in SWGH. The rider and pillion rider sustained injuries.
On July 5 around 8.30 am, one BSF vehicle driven by Ct/Dvr Bahadur Singh, collided with a truck at Dona Umniuh village. As a result, the driver and one occupant of the BSF vehicle sustained injuries. After the incident, trucker fled away.

Dumper truck stolen
Rily Pohlynjar lodged a complaint that on July 7, miscreants stole her dumper truck (AS-02BC-4216) from Nongtalang, Nonglamin village under Amlarem PS in West Jaintia Hills.

Goons steal jewelry worth over Rs 3 lakh
On July 5 evening, miscreants broke into the house of Kiran Thapa at Them Mawbah, Shillong and stole gold ornaments valued around Rs. 3,50,000 and cash Rs. 3,000.

Theft
Lt. Col. Servesh Dhadwal lodged a complaint that on the night of July 5 and 6, miscreants stole the music system from his jeep (PB-07AL-5150), parked at LMO Block-I/3 Officer Mess, HQ 101 Area, Shillong.

Duped
Laplish Ch Marak lodged a complaint that on July 2, he ordered a football from Snapdeal Online Store and later received a text message that he won a car in a lucky contest. He was asked to deposit a total of Rs. 35,070 to different accounts to claim the prize. Later, he realised that he has been cheated.
