Accident
On July 10 around 7:45am, one Tata Winger (AS-18C-7595) met with an accident at Dollonggre, Jengjal in West Garo Hills. One occupant identified as Nabi Hussain (30) succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
Assault
On July 9 around 9:30pm, three unidentified persons abused and assaulted Pankaj Rai near Umshyrpi Bridgeand fled with Rs 14,500.
Wan Bareh lodged a complaint stating that on July 8 around 3:00pm, one Kiman Synnah attacked him with a knife at Sutnga Dongpohchnong village.
On July 7 around 8:00pm, one Kri Suchiang of Latymphu village) assaulted Rita Suiam (31). The victim sustained injuries and was taken to CH Ialong.
A complaint was lodged stating that on July 4 around 2:00am, Johny Turnia assaulted his wife and daughter at their residence in Mawpat. The accused also fled the scene.
Theft
Mishmi Mazumdar lodged a complaint stating that unknown miscreants stole her luggage including cash, one cell-phone and speakers from her vehicle (ML-05P-7718) which was parked at her residence at 6th Furlong in Pynthorumkhrah.
On July 10, unknown miscreants stole a motorcycle belonging to Sashimongra Ao, which was parked at Lummawrie.
On July 10 around 7:30pm, unknown miscreants stole the battery of a garbage truck of the Durbar Shnong in Nongrim Hills.
