Population fortnight
The World Population Fortnight 2018 was organised by the office of the District Medical and Health Officer, East Jaintia Hills at the CHC campus in Khliehriat. The event centered on the theme ‘Bright future begins with welfare of a family’. East Jaintia Hills District Commissioner FM Dopth graced the event as the chief guest and stated that the main aim of the programme is to educate the community on the importance of family planning.
Awareness programme
An awareness programme on solid and liquid waste management was organised by the District Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) at Khliehriat West Community Hallon Wednesday. East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner FM Dopth attended the programme as Chief Guest. Dustbins were also handed over to the Dorbar Chnong of Khliehriat West by POWER GRID, Khliehriat.
Relief campaign
