Tura music students make academy proud

TURA: Four students of the Bosco Academy of Music in Tura have done the institution proud by passing out with distinction in the recent Theory examination conducted by the Trinity College of Music, London.
For the first time, the examination of the prestigious London College of Music was conducted in Tura on May 5 this year, results of which was declared on July 5. Out of the six students from the academy who appeared in different grade examinations, Sanju M Sangma, Emerelda Altheza Ch Marak, Lynsey Dona Ch Marak and Renang R Marak passed with distinction securing 94, 95, 91 and 94 marks respectively.
Two other students, Amaritchu Yuli K Sangma (85 marks) and Elveinte Miguel R Sangma (72 marks) also passed the examination. The students prepared for the examination under the supervision of the Academy Director, Tengrang R Sangma.
A total of 19 students from different parts of Garo Hills had appeared for the examination.
