PHE meeting
There will be a meeting of all PHE Casual and Custer roll workers organised by Thma U Rangli Juki and Workers Power from across the state at Community Hall Mission Compound near Khasi Pnar School at 11 am on July 21. The meeting is being held to discuss workers issues.

Cleaning drive
Meghalaya and Greater Shillong Progressive Hawkers & Street Vendors Association will organise a cleaning drive in all vending areas of the city on Tuesday. The cleaning drive is being organised to commemorate U Tirot Sing Memorial Day. MGSPHSVA stands in solidarity with all struggles for justice and freedom.

Orientation programme
A three-day orientation programme on enhancement of educators’ emotional hygiene for the teaching and non teaching staff organised by St Mary’s College, Shillong, will be held at the college auditorium from 9 am to 3 pm on July 16, 18 and 19. Resource persons are Fr. Jomon KJ and Sr. Bernardine Joseph.

MUPSTA
The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association, West Jaintia Hills District Unit, will hold its general meeting at Tympang Club School, Iawmusiang, Jowai at 11 am on Tuesday. The meeting will be held to discuss on the ways and means for taking part at the State Conference to be held at Tura this month. The meeting will also discuss on various matters for the strengthening of the association in the District and in the State as a whole.

Office bearers
The executive body meeting of Jhalupara Village Council was held at CERA office, Jhalupara on Sunday. The executive body has nominated Bipen Pradhan to take charge as general secretary and as per the constitution the elected president Prakash Bhandari has nominated Pradhan to take charge as general secretary of Jhalupara village council.

Birth anniv
Dr. Shyama Pradesh Mukherjee Welfare Organisation, Shillong, celebrated the 117th birth anniversary of Dr Mukherjee by organising Art Competition on July 1 and prize distribution was carried out on Sunday. The chief guest of the event was Art & Culture and Health Minister, A L Hek.
