SHILLONG: Delhi-based Finergy Serve on Friday submitted a proposal to Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek to create awareness on fitness in the state.
Talking to media persons, director of the firm Mohit Suri said they provide health diagnostics at corporate city and they intend to have customised awareness camps and focused guidance after detailed study and diagnostics.
Stating that they assist corporate and government bodies in meeting their corporate social responsibility and improve productivity, he added that their programmes help save medical bills and improve employee productivity by up to 30 percent.
Under the proposal, the fitness experts would assess the audience, spread awareness about the importance of health and provide various options to the clients. He said that the firm would bring the funds for the programme through the Centre and only at times, they would need around 10-15 percent of the funding.
The firm also told the minister that they are keen to set up a diagnostic centre in Shillong.
“If any proposal is for the benefit of the people of Meghalaya, we welcome it,” Hek added.
