BJP fears influx in state, writes to CM

SHILLONG: The state Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has written to the Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma, on the fear of illegal immigration into Meghalaya from Assam following the release of the final draft of National Register of Citizens (NRC).
In this connection, the BJYM has urged the chief minister to look into the matter and to adopt an appropriate mechanism and safety measures to check illegal immigration from the neighbouring state and international borders.
