SHILLONG: A few assault cases were reported from Lower Jail Road in the city for the past few days.
A resident of Lower Jail Road informed on Sunday that the local MLA and the police visited the area following the incident.
One of the injured was hospitalized on Sunday.
“We are facing a difficult time due to the trend and immediate intervention of the authorities is the need of the hour”, the resident said.
