Inter School & Inter College Karate tourney concludes

SHILLONG: The 26th Inter School & 8th Inter College Karate Tournament 2018 organised by the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association, Shillong at Indoor Sports Hall, J.N. Sports Complex, Polo Ground, Shillong from August 10, 2018 concluded on Saturday. Total of 458 karatekas from 67 schools and 9 colleges participated in the Tournament. Shri Adelbert Nongrum, MLA 17th North Shillong Constituency attended the Closing Ceremony as Chief Guest and Ms. Matsiewdor War Nongbri, IAS, Director, Sports & Youth Affairs, Meghalaya was the Chief Guest during the Opening Ceremony. The Association also felicitated Shri Brian Wallang and K.C. Lights for winning Gold Medal in the 11th Grand Prix Thailand, International Choir Festival held at Pattaya, Thailandfrom July 19 to 21, 2018.
