Man’s limb amputated in accident

SHILLONG: A person’s limb was amputated in Sohra on Tuesday. In a trauma case reported from Mawsahew Sohra, WL Marbaniang called up 108 for a fracture case as the victim Timingstar Kharsyntiew (20) was hit by the moving rope way when it reached near the location where he was standing. However when 108 ambulance team reached the scene, the medical team found that the victim’s left lower limb was amputated.
The victim was first shifted to Sohra CHC by 108 Sohra based ambulance and after which the case was referred to Shillong.
