Woman injured
On August 17 around 2 pm, a woman was wounded as a result of a quarrel broke out between two families in South West Garo Hills.
Raju Ray, Robi Ray and Molin had a brawl with the family members of Jontu Ray at Raypara village under Mahendraganj PS. During the quarrel, Raju Ray and his family members cut the hand of Jontu Ray’s wife. The victim was shifted to CHC Mahendraganj, from where she was referred to CH Tura.

Father cuts son’s hand in EGH
Rujen Marak along with other residents of Megagre Songgitcham village, East Garo Hills, lodged a complaint that on August 16, Babula N Sangma (40) cut the hand of his fifteen year old minor son viz., Guilt N Marak. Police arrested the accused.
