Govt offices in poll-bound South Tura to remain close on Aug 23

TURA: The West Garo Hills District Election officer, Ram Singh, in a Press communiqué  has informed that all State Government Offices falling under 51-South Tura (ST) Legislative Assembly Constituency shall remain closed on August 23 to enable the voters of the Constituency to exercise their franchise in the by-election.

However, all other offices including educational institutions located outside the jurisdiction of the poll-bound Assembly Constituency shall remain open and function normally, the release added.
