7 injured in Manipur bridge collapse

IMPHAL: At least seven persons were injured when a bridge under construction in Manipur’s Jiribam district collapsed on Wednesday. Two of them are in critical condition, police said.

The debris from the falling bridge over the Gaokhal river hit the seven persons.

The injured were rushed to the Borobekra Hospital and the Jiribam District Hospital where the condition of two of them was stated to be worrisome.
