Four candidates but only one can vote

TURA: The election for the coveted South Tura seat has four political aspirants, including the current chief minister and a former legislator.
However, among the four candidates only one is eligible to cast his vote at a polling station in the constituency.
Only Independent candidate John Leslee K Sangma has his vote in the constituency that is going to the polls on Thursday. The former legislator is from Balading locality of South Tura. NPP candidate Conrad K Sangma, Congress’s Charlotte W Momin and Independent Chris Kabul A Sangma are not eligible to vote in South Tura as their voting rights belong to different constituencies, according to the affidavit submitted before the returning officer. Conrad has his EPIC in Selsella, his erstwhile constituency, and Momin and Chris Kabul are voters of North Tura constituency.
The Congress candidate is a resident of Ringre Gittim locality of North Tura and Chris Kabul hails from Chitoktak locality.
