Baby girl born inside 108 ambulance

SHILLONG: Staff nurse on duty from Markasa PHC referred a pregnancy case to a higher center as 30-year-old Ridahun Lyngdoh had a difficult and prolonged labour. When the Markasa-based 108 ambulance transferring the patient almost reached Mairang hospital, she delivered a baby girl in the ambulance around 4:15:00 pm through normal delivery conducted by EMT Bandonboklang Kyrpang Lyngdoh. The mother and child was shifted to Mairang Civil Hospital by the ambulance.
