SHILLONG: The CBI will examine nearly 300 tainted teachers in connection with the ongoing education scam probe.
Sources said on Wednesday that the CBI had already taken the statement of former Education Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh and other politicians who had recommended the candidates of their choice for appointment.
According to sources, the CBI also completed inquiry into other 10 centres and the FSL reports regarding the mark sheets were awaited.
Earlier, the High Court had ordered the probe into 10 centres more after the previous CBI inquiry limited its scope to just five centres.
