Shillong: SPARK, a non-profit social service organisation will observe its foundation day cum teacher’s day in KJP Assembly Hall near New Hope Centre, IGP, Shillong, at 11 am on Wednesday.
The programme is for the underprivileged children from slums and remote villages where everyone will get together as a tribute to honour and express their gratitude to their teachers for their dedication to teach these deprived and distressed children.
It also aims to provide a platform to the underprivileged children to express their love and honour towards their teachers through their performances.
The special guests for the programme will be T. Dkhar, IAS, Commissioner and Secretary of Social Welfare Department, S. A. Rynjah, SP (City), East Khasi Hills District, Mukesh Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer, Barak Valley Cements Limited and others.
