Conrad Sangma reviews implementation of schemes in districts

TURA: The status of implementation of State and Central schemes by Agriculture, Horticulture and Health departments in all the 11 districts of the state was on Tuesday reviewed by Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma through video conferencing from Ampati DRDA conference hall.

This was part of the Chief Minister’s monthly review meeting on implementation of the flagship programmes of the government in the district by various departments in the state.

In Ampati, the review meeting was held in the presence of Joint Secretary, CMO & Planning, Cyril Diengdoh, Director, C&RD, Arunkumar Kembhavi and South West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ramkumar S and ADCs, besides the district officers of the three departments that were reviewed.

During the meeting the Chief Minister sought to know the status, achievements, issues and challenges in the implementation of State Rice Mission, Seed Mission, RKVY,  National Food Security Mission, PMKSY, RKVY, Mission Integrated Development of Horticulture, Mission Organic and PKVY under Agriculture and Horticulture departments and implementation of Ayushman Bharat, NHM, PMJAY and MHIS and preparation for Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign by the Health department in all the districts

He also sought clarification on the status of land acquisition for construction of Tura Medical College.
