Four students in GH taken ill after MR vaccine

SHILLONG: Four students of a school in North Garo Hills were taken ill after they were administered the Measles-Rubella vaccine.
The students of Jamgaon Government Lower Primary School showed different symptoms after the vaccination in the school.
Two of them, Aime Momin (6) and Rajumoni (9) complained of nausea. Brunith Momin (7) had abdominal pain and Nochi Sangma (11) had mild allergic reaction in the form of itching.
The school contacted 108 Emergency Service and the Resubelpara-based ambulance shifted the children to the CHC there.
