U-19 M’laya girls to take part in BCCI tourney

GUWAHATI: The 15-member under-19 Meghalaya girls’ cricket team left for Guntur in Andhra Pradesh on Monday to take part in a BCCI national level tournament.

The team will be led by Neha Hajong while Sildamicresha Marbaniang will be the vice captain. The other players in the team are Neelam Roy, Shruti Kumari, 5. Dasanbaniewkor Wahlang, Thymmei Lyngdoh, Dislinda Lyngdoh, Lasiewspah Marwein, Evanrilin S Syiem, Deiphibapynshngain L Mawnai, Dorathy Sangma, Jullysha Marak, Sanchi Marak and Mansi Anand.

The team is being accompanied by coach, Dipali Patkar(BCCI), trainer, Priyanka Mondal(BCCI), manager, Kyntiewbok Wahlang (MCA) and physio, Mercy L Dkhar(MCA).
