Robina D Sangma lodged a complaint stating that on October 10 around 2:00am, Polendro Ch Marak along with his three children assaulted her husband Lastine Ch Marak inside her residence at Gangbanga in West Garo Hills.
Hit and run
On October 4, an unknown vehicle knocked down Md. Nizam Uddin Sikdar at Rymbai Road in East Jaintia Hills. The victim later succumbed to his injuries on the way to Guwahati Medical College. A criminal case has been registered.

Wanbaki Sumer, JE, I/c Iapmala WSS, PHE Khliehriat lodged a complaint stating that during a September 28 inspection, it was detected that unknown miscreants had stolen two suction pipes valued at Rs 10,000 from Tuberkmaishnong WSS at Mukri Blai in Tuberkmaishnong
On Sunday around 1:00pm, unknown miscreants stole one scooty belonging to Tuk Bahadur from Upper Demseiniong.
On Saturday afternoon, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Hemanta Das at Laitumkhrah Main Road and stole two laptops and valuable documents.
