Missing
One fifteen year old boy, Ankit Rai was reported missing from Dainty Buds School, Bishnupur, Shillong, since October 26, 2018.
Assault
Lutmon Suchiang lodged a complaint that on October 24 around 7 pm, one TRB Suchiang, who was in an inebriated state, assaulted her brother Manbha Suchiang at Shangpung Pohshnong (WJH) and also threatened him and his family members with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused.
Theft
Philip Iawphniaw lodged a complaint that on October 6, miscreants stole the blade saw of his stone crusher machine from Mawlangwir (SWKH) and later on October 11, one block machine was also stolen from the same place. Later, the complainant found that the stolen properties were sold at Sadew (EKH) by one woman identified as Kong Jyrwa. Further, on asking the woman, she stated that one Jerry Nongsiej had sold the stolen properties to her at Mawkyrwat market (SWKH).
