Girl stalked
A girl lodged a complaint stating that one Sudhir Prasad of NEHU Hostel No. 15, Mawlai, had been stalking her and kept asking her to be his girlfriend.

Boy found hanging
Mukul Koch lodged an FIR stating that on October 27 around 11:00am, one minor boy identified as Olfret Koch (16) was found hanging from a tree at Dufrigaon village in South West Garo Hills.

Missing
Debashish Dey (37) was reported missing from his residence at Lapalang, Pdengshnong since October 27.
Renu Rai lodged a complaint stating that on October 26 around 9:00am, her son Ankit Rai (15) left for school from his residence at SBI Office complex, Last Stop in Laban and has been missing since.

NGT violation
Chiyoo War, Executive Magistrate (Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Officer, Saipung), East Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint stating that on October 27 around 9:00am, he along with police conducted a mine raid at M/s Jaintia Cement Area in East Jaintia Hills and caught one Harka Bahadur Thapa while he was extracting coal from a quarry belonging to Bombay of Wapung village in East Jaintia Hills.

Theft
Jithen M Marak lodged a complaint stating that on October 27, unknown miscreant(s) stole his Bolero pick-up (ML-14-0773) from Ampati Bazar in South West Garo Hills.
Rajib Kalita lodged a complaint stating that on the night of October 26, unknown miscreant(s) stole an electric air blower, TMT bars, drill machines and cutting machines from Effluent Treatment Plan at Civil Hospital.
Donbok Myria lodged a complaint stating that on October 22 evening, unknown miscreant(s) stole one cement mixer motor, and iron rods from NIFT Campus near TB Hospital in the city.
On October 20, unknown miscreants stole a music player and accessories from a car belonging to Deepak Das parked at Rilbong.

Accident
On October 27 around 7:30 pm, one motorcycle (ML-14-3529) ridden by Tengsrang R Sangma (22) dashed against one truck near Chengkali Tri-Junction in South West Garo Hills. The rider and one pillion rider sustained injuries and were taken to CH Ampati.
On October 26 around 4:30 pm, one tipper truck knocked down one Dimon Suna (41) at Mukhla Nongrim village in West Jaintia Hills. The victim succumbed to his injuries and the cadaver sent to CH Ialong.
