SHILLONG: Shillong Senior Citizens Forum (SNCF), stressed on the proper implementation of Senior Citizens Act, 2007, president Herman Nongrum of the forum said the members will follow up on the implementation of the Central Act in the state.
The aim and objectives of the forum is to demand the enhancement of old age pension.
The vice president, Khrawboklang Basaiawmoit said the forum is also willing to extend its help to youngsters considering the varied experiences the seniors have in their fields.
Nongrum said the forum will share information with the public at large.
