Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide runner up gets rousing welcome

NONGPOH: Eve Syiemlieh, who is the 2nd runner-up at Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide 2018, was welcomed by Ri Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF), Nongpoh Circle led by Joseph Syngkli along with her family members and village Durbar of Quinine at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati on Tuesday.
Syiemlieh has brought laurels not just to the District or the State but to the Country as a whole.
Residing at Quinine village in Ri Bhoi, Syiemlieh, a former Miss India Tourism winner, completed her schooling from Sacred Heart Girls School, Mawlai and finished her graduation from Women’s College, Shillong.
Another contestant, Sookini Sutnga from Jaintia Hills had also participated in the pageant held at Manila, Pasig City of Philippines.
The beauty pageant which was also competing by other beauty queens from around the world was bagged by Vy Hyunh from Vietnam as Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide 2018, Myanmar bagged the title Miss Tourism Global Queen, Thailand bagged the title Miss Tourism Queen Global Queen while Philippines bagged 1st Runner-Up.
