transport cost
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat has informed that the transport cost for home delivery of cylinder for the area within 15 kms will be at Rs. 25/- and for area above 15 kms will be at Rs.40/- per cylinder for both 14.2kgs and 19Kgs.

Legal service
The District Legal Service Authority, West Jaintia Hills District has informed that door to door campaign will be conducted by para legal volunteers and panel lawyers of District Legal Service to enhance legal service awareness to the people of the district.
Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority under Access to Justice (NE&JK) Project in collaboration with Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice, will be conducting “Legal Literacy Campaign”in various colleges and universities in Meghalaya on POCSO Act (2012) starting from November 8 at NEHU, Department of Law.
Eucharistic procession
The Annual Eucharistic Procession of the Shillong Archdiocese will be held at the Cathedral Parish on November 11. The programme will commence with morning prayers at 9:20 am followed by the celebration of the mass at 10 am. Thereafter, the procession will start at 1:30 pm taking the usual route through Calvary, Dhankheti-Fire Brigade (NH-44), passing through Laitumkhrah (H Elias road) and back to Calvary.

Meeting
The 38th annual general meeting of the Meghalaya Pensioner’s Association will be held on November 15 at the Seminar Hall, State Central Library.
The annual meeting of the United Hynniewtrep Movement (UHM), Central Body was held on November 3 at the Conference Hall, Assembly Hotel, Shillong. The meeting constituted new members of the UHM Central Body.
