The November 8 attack on Agnes was raised by Senior Advocate and noted human rights lawyer Colin Gonsalves in the Apex Court.
The Supreme Court was hearing several cases filed by the state government and private parties challenging the ban on coal mining by the NGT.
It was pointed out that there was no application pending with regard to the incident. Gonsalves said that the application will be filed in three days’ time.
Gonsalves, who is known to Agnes and other NGO leaders in the state, had visited Meghalaya last year to attend a seminar on human rights.
