TURA: A 30-year-old man from Dalu has been arrested by West Garo Hills Police for harassing a woman through a fake facebook profile.
The accused Santosh Roy, a resident of Dalu was arrested on Wednesday. Police had been on the lookout for the accused after the victim filed an FIR as early as July 11 last year. According to the FIR, Roy created a fake Facebook profile under the name of Rahul Singh has been harassing the victim by sending obscene images, videos to her Facebook messenger.
A case was filed in this connection with the Tura Women’s Police Station and on Wednesday.
