Load-shedding from Dec 1

SHILLONG: The citizens’ winter woes is starting early with Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited (MePDCL) resorting to load-shedding from December 1.
According to MePDCL, this is part of the Power Regulation by North Eastern Electric Power Corporation. While most of the localities in the city will have an hour of darkness, many rural pockets will have to go without power for three hours.
