 Meet
Meghalaya Joint Council of Trade Unions & Associations in its executive committee meeting held on Friday in Shillong un-animously adopted a resolution extending its full support and solidarity to Striking BSNL Employees & Workers of Meghalaya who will be resorting indefinite strike from December 3 demanding grant of Revision of Pay & Pension, allotment of 4G spectrum to BSNL to compete with private sectors mobile service providers etc.

eCourts services
The DC, East Khasi Hills District has informed that the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice is implementing the eCourts Mission Mode Project under the guidance of eCommittee, Supreme Court. It may be noted that this project harnesses ICT support to provide designated services to the litigants, advocates and judges and facilitated by eCourts Project to allow litigants to access court case information through various platforms such as SMS, email, web portal www.ecourts.gov.in/ www.njdg.ecourts.gov.in, mobile app, Judicial Service Centres and information kiosks.

Shifting of office
The Chief Operating Officer, Meghalaya State Skills Development Society, Shillong has informed that their office is shifting from the current location at Montfort Building, Ground Floor, Dhanketi, Shillong-793001 to a new location at Groove Site Building, 3rd Floor, Keating Road. The office will be functioning from the new office wef December 3.

Programme
The Shillong Manipuri Students’ Union in association with Ningol Chakouba Organising Committee, Shillong will organise Ningol Chakouba at union Office, Manipur House, Red Land, Laitumkhrah at 10 am on Sunday. The union has requested all from the various ethnic groups of Manipur residing in Shillong to attend the programme.

Golden jubilee
The School of Nursing, Civil Hospital Shillong invited the alumni of the Institute to attend the concluding function of the golden jubilee celebration to be held on the school premises at 2 pm on December 6.
