Shillong: Shillong Lajong FC will host Neroca FC in the last I-League home game of the year at the JN Stadium in the city at 5:00pm on Sunday.
Tickets for the match will be available at the SSA Stadium Counter in Polo Ground. The young Reds are heading into this clash after playing a 2-2 draw against defending champions Minerva Punjab FC on November 23.
Lajong have scored 8 goals from 6 games so far and although the Reds are currently not in a very good position on the I-League standings, they hope to turn things around on Sunday when they host the Manipuri side.
Neroca FC has played five matches so far and lost their last game against Chennai by a 2-1 margin. In the previous season, Lajong lost the home match against Neroca FC by a solitary goal while they won the away match.
During a pre-match press conference on Saturday, Neroca FC Head Coach, Manuel Retamero said: “It will be a tough match on Sunday against Lajong and we must keep the level going just like in the previous match.”
