Death anniv
The Sein Raij Niamtre, Shillong will observe the 156th death anniversary of freedom fighter, U Kiang Nangbah at Sein Jaintia Hall, Qualapatty, Shillong at 11 am on December 30. The programme will be attended by Governor Tathagata Roy as chief guest and Prof. P.M Passah, retired HOD Economics, NEHU.

Programme
The Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, East Khasi Hills District will organise a programme for the inauguration of Exhibition on Medicinal Plants and their values under AYUSH GRAM (National AYUSH Mission) at U Soso Tham Auditorium, Shillong at 10:30 am on Wednesday. Health & Family Welfare Minister A. L. Hek will be the chief guest on the occasion.

Donation

Unclaimed body
The Joint Director of Health Services (SS), Shillong Civil Hospital, has informed that one unknown male patient, aged 50 years, caste and religion unknown, C/o PAB, was admitted in the Male Medical Ward-I, Bed No. 60 of the hospital around 8 pm on December 15, however, the patient passed away the next morning at 10 am. All concerned relatives, etc, are requested to collect the body from the morgue of the hospital within a period of three days failing which the body will be send for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.
