Programme on National Nutrition Mission held

SHILLONG: A programme on National Nutrition Mission (POSHAN Abhiyan) was held at the JNS Complex in the city on Thursday.
The programme was organised by the Bureau of Outreach and Communication (BOC), Regional Office, Meghalaya and Tripura region in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India with an aim to disseminate information to the masses on the National Nutrition Mission.
T Hynniewta, Station Director, DDK, Shillong attended the programme as the chief guest along with J Gangte, Programme Head, North Eastern Service of AIR, as the guest of honor.
The programme was also attended by representatives from All India Radio, Doordarshan Kendra, BOC Guwahati, PIB, NGOs, stakeholders, students and Anganwadi workers.
