Mintu Deb of Jail Road, Shillong lodged a complaint that his employee Sudip Paul was detected through CCTV footage that he has been allegedly stealing cash from his shop “Sutripara” every day.
Accident
On January 6 at about 6.30 pm, one vehicle (ML-14-2112) driven by Chalang M Sangma dashed against one motorcycle (ML-14-1209) ridden by Konista Koch (19 yrs) at Ampati Bazar . As a result, the motorcycle rider and pillion rider sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Ampati.
On January 2, a vehicle (ML-04-8880) driven by Comingstar L Mawlong, knocked down Artaraplang Kharmawlong at Lumsohkhlur, NH-44E (WKH). As a result, the victim sustained grievous injuries and was admitted at TSM Hospital, Mairang.
Threatened
Daniel Khongsit, Headman of Bakur, Dawki (WJH) lodged a complaint that on January 5 Aibor Suting (25) went to the house of the complainant with an intention to assault him and also threatened him with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused.
